Actually some of that stuff IS good. Old just pimps it too hard. Much like any mainstream "commercialized" product though, the majority of "metal" I hear nowadays is cheap run-of-the-mill bullshit. Now inspired shit like PROBOT - good stuff. Shame it takes someone not associated with Metal (Grohl) to make a good Metal album.
