Don't like them at all. It looks like a Cavalier to me.
They should've incorporated a hood tach and scoop, retro headlamps & tail lamps. If that car comes with a "rice wing", then that'll be the deal buster!
The car looks nothing like a GTO......looks like any ordinary car on the road...i'm not impressed.

i havent seen one on the road yet, but what ive seen from those samuel l jackson commercials...i must say im unimpressed with the car's styling. to me it looks like a grand prix molded just a tad differently. a gto has to have muscle, not curves like a trendy midsize sedan imo. the gto in xxx, now thats a gto rock:
pontiac should have took a tip from ford and styled the new one much like ford has retro-styled the new mustang. someone post a pic of that silver shelby cobra 2006, its so bad ass. its not out yet though (obviously)

It's like 32 grand but I plan on buying it in a couple of years, most likely after my first deployment. By then I'm hoping when I buy it used it will drop 10 grand or so and I'll get it for 20-22 grand. I'll be saving ALL my cash, hehe biggrin:
My descion is not final but I would like either the Pontiac GTO, Ford Mustang or even an Mitsibushi Ecplise (new models suck, i'll go with a older one and fix her up). There was a possibility of me getting a Chevy S10 low-rider but damn... it looks like i'm going with a smaller car due to the price of gas.

I think GM fucked up big time by lying and calling a Grand Prix with a V8 the GTO. They should take a lesson from Ford on how to retro-style a vehicle. The new Mustang, GT40 and Cobra are all very nicely done. This new GTO is a disgrace to the muscle car it's named after.
Other than that I'm sure it's a very nice car. I'd drive it.
