when ever i try to change display brightness it doesnt work, and when i press console for eror message it says: SetDeviceGammaRamp Failed

anyone know what this is?

BTW i got directx 9.0b and a GeForceTi4200 AGP8X 128MB and the latest display drivers. i allready tried if reinstalling the drivers works, but it doesnt..

I think you mean setting the brightness in game, correct. Click on Start, click Run, and type dxdiag. Let the program run and on the first page at the bottom it shows your Direct X version. What is the compleat version number? Now click on the Display tab. What is your video card and driver?
Sounds like a reinstall to me.

This should be in Tech problems.
