I enjoyed the series Band of Brothers and movie Saving private Ryan (or was it saving Ryan's privates?) and i wanted to play those battles myself. First, i was totally into operation Flashpoint, but it didn't really feel like WWII. So i bought MOHAA. Plus, i love to kill those nazi pigs.

Realistic? Where do you get your extensive knowledge of WWII from? Comic Books? Hollywood? No offense, man, but you're mistaking difficulty for realism. About 70% of this game plays out like a great WWII movie but the other 30% is nothing more than "Serious Sam does WWII". Pure stupidity. Do you think any one US Army Ranger had to dispatch endless waves of respawning german soldiers in a span of 5 minutes like you have to do so many times in this game? Answer: NO!
What's great about MOHAA:
1. Omaha Beach. The greatest FPS level ever, bar none. A monumental achievement. Too bad the rest of the game is not of the same quality. Still there are some memorable levels, like "Snipers Last Stand".
2. Attention to detail. Lots of nice details, like the dogfight overhead between a P-47 and a Fw-190, which culminates in the P-47 crashing into the side of a building you just exited.
hmm i havent played the whole sp yet i am just now at omaha i just like the chatter between the soldiers its funny what they say and so far my fav scene was escaping the harbor after u blow the uboat up but i agree with above dude no realistic crap happening that would make the game realistic just fluff
