You didnt install drivers over old drivers did you? Also maybe you have some kind of built in graphics from your motherboard that is currently on? If you do check your BIOS.

I had a problem not too long ago kinda like yours, I reinstalled windows using the repair method. Made everything lag after it. It was fixed when i erased the harddrive and installed windows all over again 100%. If you did a repair maybe thats what caused it.

interesting....i didnt do a repair install, however, i do remember that the formatting went really fast, like under a minute, when it usually takes like 15-20 mins to format a hd. i believe it already detected that i was using the ntfs file system so it could do a fast format. perhaps i will do a clean-clean reformat/install . i will get back to ya

Cameltoe...If you havn't fixed your glitch yet...I do believe that it sounds like you just dloaded drivers that don't work right. It happens...I have A GF3 and I can jam all the way on all vid settings. If you havn't found a chioce of drivers yet,go here... http://www.guru3d.com ...they have a huge selection of drivers for all video cards.New drivers will probably fix your problen, seeing as the fact that it worked fine before!!Just keep changing them till you find the ones that work.I would start with the newest and work down.No need to use real old and maybe outdated drivers.
