The movie was a joke, I mean obviously it isn't supposed to 100% accurate but once they found out the climate was going to change so drastically in 4 weeks and then the wolves started acting like velociraptors from Jurassic Park it became laughable.

I'm tired of people's only defense to shitty CGI movies being "it's a popcorn flick". Shove that popcorn up your ass and stop going to this friggin movies so hollywood finally realizes quantity over quality is not a good thing. I mean jesus christ those wolves were blatently CGI the entire movie, they didn't even use real dogs when they were in the zoo.

Sure some of the effects were cool, but I've seen enough cool effects. I mean, look at Jurassic Park, that movie combined practical effects with cgi perfectly and it was done in 1992-1993! Yet over a decade later we still have shitty looking CGI-infested movies like this.

The only memorable image for me was the statue of liberty frozen. The rest I've seen before in other disaster movies. How many times can I see New York and LA destroyed before gettting sick of it? Well this is one time too many.
