"A small country" Webb? By European standards Germany is huge. I believe its 2nd only to France in size(unless you want to count part of Russia). With their population glut they were truely a powerhouse. WolfX, how can you have great admiration for what German War History did and not appove of what they did? That is the same thing. Do you appove of what was done in the Warsaw Ghetto? That wasn't the Gestapo, that was Wehrmahct. How about asking Russian peasants what they thought of the German War Machine. That isn't war, it's murder. I admire German attention to order and discipline within their ranks and their engineering accomplishments of that era but what they did from '39-'45 was not praiseworthy. The Wehrmact was just as guilty as the SS and Gestapo of warcrimes. You can't seperate the two.

Webb, the great error of your examples are that none of the countries are in Europe. Only Russia was a part of Europe, yet the vast majority of that country's land bulk lies in Asia.
Besides, landmass is a poor judge. Were landmass an accurate way to gauge country's power, Canada would have a far different image, no? Wonderful country, an economic powerhouse, but certainly no industrial giant.
Germany was.
Anyway, it is *almost*, but not quite, surprising that you are unable to realize why your glorification of Nazi symbolism is grating, to say the least.

Webb,I asked because I wanted to know if we could find each other on the same server for that challenge. Because a friend of mine in Arizona last week we couldn't find each other on the gamespy site.

My point exactly Shoegaze. Virtually all of Europe was conquered by Germany, who, by European standards, is huge. But once the big boys (US,Russia,Canada,UK(?)) came to the rescue, they were pretty much playing defensive ball for the remainder of the war.

I don't use Gamespy, after I download the patch, there's no need to go there.
But I believe if you go to Gamespy, and look up for your friend, you will be able to find,or better just ask him which server he will be playing.
Or you or him can host a game, that will be the easiest to do,because that way you know the server's name and map.

Cool, thanks. Do you want to do that challenge today? It looks like you are starting a real war here.
