Yeah, I hated RPG's too, but try morrowind. It's awesome. It's just simply a great game, forget about genre. And as far as kick ass FPS, one word, Halo, and 2.[/quote:2b556]

Halo is mediocre in my eyes. Goldeneye 64 is much more fun.

golden eye for 64 was classic, the world is not enough the other bond game for 64 was pretty good too. but halo is still extremely fun nonetheless...what makes halo own is the xbox linking...when we get 16 of us over at someones house and link up the xboxs and play halo....its alot of fun.

Developers just need more confidence to bring more RPG's and console games to the PC. Once they do this Consoles will start to see more numbered days.

RPG have more depth and a storyline than any FPS. FPSs are basically the football of video games while RPGs are the chess club.

People get upset that I don't love their precious Halo? I own it as well, I just don't think it is what people say it is.

I have Halo for both Xbox and PC and it's worth every penny. If you think about it the Xbox would not have gotten to its elite status without Halo. Halo is and always will be a legend in the gaming community. rock:

People have different tastes. Yes, I've done the 16 player Halo shit as well. I just had more fun with goldeneye.

Knights of the Old Republic is a much better game than Halo. That should be known as the best Xbox game, by far.

Halo has an interesting story line, that is much more interesting if you read the two books Eric Nyland put out. The Fall of Reach was one of the best sci-fi books I have ever read, I couldn't put it down. It tells the story of what happened before Halo, what happened to the fleet. His second book is the bridge between Halo and Halo 2.

KOTOR is a very in-depth game, that you can play for 80+ hours and not see everything.

As far as RPG v FPS, sorry but most RPG's ake me want to throw up. I can't stand the battle system and the constant waiting, or looking around for hours for an item. There are exceptions, but I'll take fast-paced action over that RPG shit any day.
