Guys I just picked up a new system from a buddy of mine and have been trying to get this game to run. The weird thing is, I installed the game and the 1.1 patch. I go into settings and setup up my resolution, effects levels, etc. When I exit the game and come back in, all the video and advanced settings are back to default, but it still has my custom key configuration.
I am also getting weird freezes and random crashed in windows. Anyone know what would cause this to happen in this game? Thanks for any input.

Perhaps the video card in that system won't handle all the new effects. Or maybe you just need to make sure that it has the latest drivers and that you also have the latest version of directx installed.

There may be more problems with that system. Go to your system folder in your control panels and see if there are any conflicts.

Hope that helps

Try updating your video card drivers, reinstall the game, run auto-config before running the game for the 1st time. See if that works.

Negative Kakarott. I bought this game and it ran fine on my old pc. I can't figure out why the goddam options keep resetting to default it is really starting to irk me.
