Here is an unforgettable photo of the REAL Bill Guarnere. It is also something to show people playing MOH who keep complaining that they got killed but the game said they were only shot in the "lower right leg"!

That is a tight picture, it really makes you think tho. What is the real price of war, and freedom?

In the mini series he was the tough sergant who kept referring to Captain Winters as a "quaker", the one with the strong jaw and the stronger South Philly accent.

I think the fellow you are referring to was Joe Toy. If I remember Band of Brothers correctly, he did also survive.
