For the 400ex, get a new pipe, a UNI filter, pull the airbox lid and rejet your carb. It'll seriously wake up that motor. Go with an FMF Q pipe, or a WhiteBros E2.

You WILL crash your quad, and it WILL screw up your nice decal job. Don't be a poser, and actually learn how to ride instead of "customizing" your bike.
ok, since you probably didn't read the first few replies, I'm not worried about performance right now cause it's just fine for what I use it for (light jumps, wheelies, drag racing, racing, and plowing through everything) and I can get decals for 7 dollars, and I'm just looking towards putting a decal on the gas tank and replacing the "HONDA" sticker on the back behind the seat with something else, some crazy nickname maybe, and the whole thing'll cost around 14-20 dollars, that's way cheap and if I do crash it (which is probably rare because it sticks to the ground like glue) then I won't have to replace the decals immediately, and the decals won't be hurt too bad anyways.

PS. have you even ridden a quad? and if you crashed one, what did you do exactly, cause quads are hard to crash.

Stick with the skull theme. Find some decals online of skulls and get those. or go to someplace like..... Newburry Comics or something.Or if you want to get a little more expensive just paint it. Either way its goign ot get dirty so what does it matter?

I always clean my quad after I ride it, unless I'm going the next day, but, yeah, I was gonna stick with the skull theme.

Heh. I havent ridden quads much, but every quad I've ridden has tried to tip over on me. Yes, I know how to ride them, in order to keep them from flipping.

45mph power slides down a dirt road on a utility quad are kinda fun.

don't agree with you there. they're lightweight, have a lot of torque, and really don't have a low center of gravity. They will flip or roll faily easily. You just gotta know what to do when it happens, basically not get stuck under it. I've only rolled my Utility once. I was able to jump off, but went down a 6 foot drop. Luckily I just got a bruise. I have seen people hurt though. My cousin started to go up this pile of asphault, it was steep, and loose. He got about 12 foot up it, and he decided it was too steep, so he was gonna just clutch it and roll back, but he slipped on the clutch, so the back tires just dug right in. He couldn't go no where, so he just held on. The four wheeler landed right on top of him, his eyebrow went right into the brake resovoir. Cut him good. He even got some chunks of asphault stuck in his forehead.

They only get real dangerous if you get crazy, but aint danger part of the fun? rock:

to anyone who's ever crashed or is about to ride a quad then remember the golden riding rule "when in doubt, accelerate", it'll save ya if you go into something tough

Especially if you're in doubt of a wall, just on the other side of the hill. ( Happened while mountain biking.)
