It's not that they stay up on the screen for a while (in fact, in DM games the kills remain up there for a very short time before being shunted off by other kills).

It's just that if you kill 5 players in one shot (or grenade) you will see 5 consecutive kills by you on the top of the screen. It shouldn't be segregated by other players' kills like Spiewalk's is in his screenshot.

It could technically happen. If someone died at precisely the right time in between the server registering the death of two of your 5 kills, then perhaps that would be up there too. We're talking about microseconds here, though.

But, it wouldn't happen as clearly and blatently as it has in the screenshot.

And anyway, this is presuming that two players have the name Lonewolf, that SenorSexy managed to kill one of the other 5 kill victims exactly in between those 5 kills and also die to the same rocket in the same instant, and that magic fellow respawned almost instantly and killed Spiewalk.

All in the period of about 500 milliseconds.

That is unless there is a magic clone, too.

Anyone want to buy a lottery ticket while this kind of freak chance is occuring?

Didn't think so

I just edited my last post. If you examine the kills in his screenshot it shows that it would be impossible to be a 5 kill.

SenorSexy would have to have killed one of the victims of the '5 kill' (Rainman) in exactly the same instant that he died to Spiewalk's 'single rocket'.

Impossible, I'm afraid.

Unless this server has 3 clones... 2 Rainmans, 2 Lonewolfs and 2 magics...

Spiewalk, why lie then prove yourself wrong in the same post?

There is skill in using the Rocket Launcher, but you have to clearly show that you aren't killing your self, simply to get one guy.

Awwwwww man.. guys look, I was just messin around with the bazoka and I saw all 5 dudes standing togther so I launched the bazoka. They all died but it was such a large game where so many kills were already being registerd one after the other is didn't show all 5. Trust me guy's I didn't edit that pic in anyway I just thought i'd show you guy's how much of a fluke that shot was. I'm not trying to show that i'm skilled in using the bazoka or anything. Thanx for totally over analyzing my post thu.

Rockets are for those that cant aim propertly, its as easy and simple as that.
I like to go for the Tommy Gun or Garand Rifle. Thats weapons! Not Bazookas.

I have found that in DM Games most of the people that use the Zookas are of a lower skill level, mabee I just havnt seen anyone good use it. But I swear If I see anyone using them in a game they become my STG Fodder. The only thing I can complain about the Rockets are there lack of realism. In a real life situation you would have a partner, so in essence a 2 man "anti-tank" squad. Not a one man "quake syle" rocket snipers. I just dont see how one dude can run around with a bazooka and 6 extra rounds (where do youput em??) and still be able to shoot it standing up (witch should knock you on your ass) and reload it in less than 5 seconds, a 2 man team would be lucky to reload in 5 seconds. Well anyway there is no use in whining so I am just stating fact. So bring on the rockets in MP I am ready to take you guys out!

Have you guys ever tryed playing a realism server? I thought the Thompson was tha best too untill I tryed them on a CKR server, now I use the M1 or BAR, but you run hella slow wit it. The thompson is still a viable weapon you just gotta be kinda close, no more 100 yard acuracy with the SMG's.

Desert Eagle... True, you can have your kills split by other kills (I actually said that in one of my posts) but I actually said that if this were to be the case in this particular picture then the person who was killed in between his '5-kill' was actually one of the last 3 he killed.

This proves that the time between the SenorSexy kill was long enough to allow the player to respawn and die to Spiewalk's 2nd zooka shot.

It's fairly clear, really. That and the fact that he clearly kills Lonewolf two times.

It wasn't you that I saw playing, btw, 'cos you're American and this fellow was from the UK.

Spiewalk. Shh.

The Guy who killed two probably has two computers running and led the two players he was controlling into the same spot the launched a rocket.

Spiewalk, no real need to analyse it when it clearly shows you killed Lonewolf two times in your supposed 5 kills.

Also, it shows that one of those kills in between your '5 kill' (SenorSexy) would have had to have killed one of your 5 kills at exactly the same time as you did.

Sorry, mate, it's impossible. Stop trying to cover it up.

No one said you edited the pic, 'cos your pic actually disproves you anyway.

As for rpgs, or any gun for that matter, causing lag on a server in large quantities... I'll take your word for it if you say you've witnessed it yourself, but weapon fire won't produce enough packets to cause any considerable lag in any game.

If the servers you saw this on weren't dedicated/T1+ then it's no wonder they were lagging. They'd be lagging simply because you have too many people on them, most likely. The fact they use rpgs or pistols or sniper rifles won't add any lag.

Rpgs would have slightly more trajectory data, I suppose, but we're talking about bits here. The lag you experience would more likely be graphicaly based, rather than ping.

You might be right, though, I've never really noticed it myself.

HECK!, i can call 10 of my friends, change their names in the server and then tell them to stay together so that i could blow them with the bazooka and BOOM!....look at me....10, 20, 30 people with one rocket. By the way, i wasnt accusing him. I am just saying that people can just call friends and do a favors and such.
