Sure that helps, because I've to do the same every time. It's very annoying, But I'm sure they will fix it in the next patch aswel as those localizations (my'ne is the dutch version)

Hi,

I bought the game on saturday - ran it and it booted me to desktop and i had to log on to play the single player game!

i found the MoHAA UK patch v1.1 and ran it and still got the same problem?

Is there another patch i need please help!

Would love to help, but you need to give us some details of you PC, we need the following info:

What kind of CPU
OS
amount of ram
Video card
Version of Vid card drivers
Version of DirectX
What is the message your seeing.
Most likely your video card is having issues with the OpenGL part of the game
Try getting the latest drivers, for it

What kind of CPU - Pentium 3 (1ghz)

OS - Windows 98

amount of ram - 256k ram

Video card - Geforce 3

Version of Vid card drivers - hmm this could
be the problem havent updated them since before xmas

Version of DirectX - latest version

What is the message your seeing.

no message - try and run game it crashes to desktop and asks me to connect to internet. Once i connect the single player game runs fine.

Most likely your video card is having issues with the OpenGL part of the game
Try getting the latest drivers, for it

I would recommend going to www.nvidia.com and grabbing there referance drivers.

yea, EA still hasn't answered why the game tries to go online, when trying to play the SP.

try this though and see if it helps.

Open up Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, Connections and make sure the Never dial a connection option is checked.
