[quote="Old Reliable":0f1cd]um, vinyl sucks for audio quality but they're nice to keep[/quote:0f1cd]
Are you joking? Learn about audio before you wrote these lies! Audiophiles dont buy 20grand vinyl players because of their bad sound quality rolleyes: Vinyl holds a TRUE analog signal meaning the surface of the record has the actual sine waves ON IT while digital formats DONT. Think of it like a smooth ramp vs stairs. The smooth ramp is vinyl, the stairs are CD's. Anyone that knows anything about audio knows vinyl has superior sound quality. The only bad thing is if you have a crappy player, they can wear down over time, or have pops and clicks.
exactly about the wear and tear, i have some old vinyls that can't be played anymore. overtime digital is superior. but for older records that are in great shape you cant replace that sound.

Well sure trashed records wont sound good Vinyl can still be superior overtime IF they are taken care of.
