I'll be honest. Before MOH:AA, I was playing the Delta Force series (all) since pre 99. The game has gone the way of cheaters and no developer support and I have and better interest now.

The one nice thing about Delta Force was. Every Delta Force MP I’ve played (and I’ve played a lot) we always gave a GG (good game) or GGA (good game all) at the beginning of the next game. I have not once seen this in MOHAA MP. Not a single compliment, or even a gs (good shot)
What is up with this. Everyone talks about this being a team game, but know one ever acts like a team.

My biggest asset in Delta Force was to "Communicate with your teammates". I have tried this in MOH but know one seems to listen or give thanks when I warn then about a bad guy around the corner from them.

Hey, Let try something. Next time you’re in a game give a GG or GGA at the beginning of the next game. Maybe we can start something here.

I don't know what good this will do, but I feel better now, that I vented.
Thanks for listening guys/gals.

I have gotten some compliments but I mean you have to utterly own them completely. I was in a game and the next closest score I believe was 30 points behind me and I was something like 50-12...and someone said sommething about me being good and I said thanks. But, normally the time ammount till the map change on this game does not allow you to say GG. Some times I do see it but honestly...pretty rare...not for lack of trying I think jus the way the map rotates.

kinda like Q3A was, no one ever wanted to talk... unless they had friends in the game

Well, I just gotta say that I frequently do the 'GGA' or 'nice shot' thing (both to enemies and allies), and I've seen it fairly frequently on the servers that I play, too.

I -occasionally- get sniped or sprayed while typing a compliment or a short 'assault plan', because you can't always wait 'til your dead or 'til map change to say something.. But I think the trade-off is worth it.

The more you communicate, the better the playing experience in the LONG run.

I've gotten compliments, and given them to, but sometimes the game can be kinda fast paced and you don't have time to type out a message. Sometimes when I join a game I go "Hi All" and I always get a response.

As for the GG thing, I've tried, but the game starts switching to the next map so fast that it doesn't always make it before the switch. I think if there was a few more seconds people would do that more, I've played Caslte Wolfenstein and they do it a lot there because there is that extra time to do it in that game.

I think silence is ok in a game anyway, it's when some good starts overusing the ingame chats or starts with the "I'm gunna own you guys" crap that things start to go downhill.

Ok well, there's two points to this.

Yes: You are right. There is less concern and cheer for other teammates as you celebrate your wins, or relief of killing the enemy. This was always a key aspect to teamwork; keeping communication between players frequent. So, having less players support each other does not dull the game, but it dulls playing with other teammates.

And on the other hand, No: This siduation is dealt with a normal team or objective match through GS or ASE, but NOT with a clan match. The whole point of forming a clan, guild or group to play an online game is to work as a team, and support each other. saying "Nice shot" or "Good job" is also part of that.

So, with those two statements in mind, you bring up a good point, Dog. Even though GS & ASE are not exactly all "old-time gamers", most of them just don't put in the extra effort towards commending their teammates. THEY SUCK! heh
