Seems that no-one hasn't make a topic from the goodnesses and weaknesses of the snipers, huh?Well now has.

What do you think, which one is better, KAR98 Sniper or the Springfield '03?
I see it this way.

I have noticed that it is alot easier to aim horizontally moving targets with the KAR98.You see the two lines near the aiming line ease to aim. Then (well this might be just a opinion but) I think that the KAR98 is a slighty more powerful sniper, so it kills of more easier.

Then the Springfield is a good gun too, its more silent and the crosshair is easy to place and shoot quickly.But what do you think?

I must go with the KAR the springfield just sucks IMO, actualy its kinda ironic bcause the Springfield was modeled after the Mauser. The Springfield armory liscenced the plans of the mauser in the early 1900's made a few changes and started building the '03.

really though use something w/o a scope you can snipe just as well, sorta, but its more fun!

Here's my two cents!!


Well whenever I use the springfield I always have to shoot twice to get a kill and I just don't like it's power and aiming! With the KAR98 I find the zoom better a hell of alot more powerful! and it's easy to follow your kill and then kill him/her with one quick shot and then relocate!

KAR. i can hit moving targets with it better and i like the crosshairs
