Southern France : Bazooka land ?!

I hate this map !
I played on it twice yesterday and it seems that almost 50% of the players there choose and use bazookas...

1-
too much bazooka-fire generates big lag (probably the smoke)...
2-
too much lag makes aiming with standard weapons impossible....
3-
Impossible aiming with standard weapons makes you choose bazookas...
4-
back to number one ......

I like games with lots of zookas. People who use them exclusively are easy to kill. Just hide, and wait for them to reload. There's nothing that they can do. I always have the highest kills on servers where it's mostly rockets. Or just rush them. As long as I can take them out with me.

I agree. Rockets are powerful weapons, but they have weaknesses. Same deal with the shotgun.

Hm.I think this map is good.Have played a few times it and I don't think it has alot rocket ppl.But anyway you just might had a unlucky time to play.I just get my Tommy gun and start shootin ppl

or a shotgun perhaps.But the mission hasn't got alot lag and not alot bazooka people. So I disagree with you.Btw I am finnish too, kyllä kantsii!

To many rockets does make alot of lag for everyone, I wish they would do away with them damn things.

Well yeah I know it makes lag, but heh, I haven't seen very many bazooka guys around in the map, so how can there be lag from rockets?Answer is: There can't!

Its on of the ambiancefullest and beautifullest in the game (with Remagen and Snow Park).
It remembers me a french war-drama movie with Phillip Noiret & Romy Schneider.
Its in the Southern France (heu yes...), he is a rich doctor and she is waiting for him in his castle/manor with their daughter when a Waffen SS kompanie is attacked by the French Resistance, they fall back in the castle and burn Romy Schneider and the daughter with a flamethrower (ugly).
When the husband comes home, he see the black demarcation on the wall (very ugly) and killes every man of the unit by falls and secret passages in the old castle...
Its a very good movie, in France, its called "Le Vieux Fusil", "The old Rifle", maybe because he kills some Waffen SS soldiers with an old hunting rifle.

Maybe it's time to just start shooting anyone and everyone who carries a rocket! Screw what team they're on...... if mayhem is what you seek. But it might actually curb use of them as ugly as it is to kill team members.

Much easier is to go on a server which uses a mod which disables rockets (and snipers maybe too.)

Yeah just play on a server that removes those weapons and your problem is fixed.

I have given MY OPINION.
Bazookas are NOT REALISTIC, especially when 90% of players in a squad use them.

It causes lag, and it is UNREALISTIC.

ST_Bazooka_Joe, go and play Quake !
The "thermo-plasmic over-protonic gun" is a better weapon for you !
