A dedicated server is just that, a computer (the server) that keeps track of all the players and what they are doing. You can't play on a dedacated server unless you connect to it across a LAN or the internet. I hope this clears that up.

No MOH is a free game, you don't have to pay to play. I mean you do have to buy the game and pay for your internet connection, but other than that it's free. As I said earlier, a dedicated server is keeping track of all the players and what they are doing. Next time you play start a dedicated server. All you will see on your monitor is the console. Now you have a server running, but there are zero players untill someone joins. I have a computer in the basement that I sometimes run a dedicated server on. I connect to it from my bedroom computer across my home network (LAN). Other people join the game across the internet. If this didn't clear this up for you send me a pm ok.

Ok, thank you very much. Now its clear.
But I have one more question.
How do I run a dedicated server? like a regular server but with x on "dedicated server"?
and when somebody enters, does it automatically track him? can i see him playing?

No you can not see them playing. You could read the console messages as they scroll.

A dedicated server proberly can't help you except to play in one. Like I said before, I can run my basement computer as a dedicated server and connect my bedroom computer and my entertainment room computer across my home network, and have more people join across the internet. If you only have one computer than you wouldn't run a dedicated server. I can leave my dedicated server running while I'm gone, so my friends can play on it. Have you tried the multi-player part yet? I'll bet the servers you went to were dedicated.
