Ok, now that I have your attention, I have a problem with my Windows XP. After I reformatted my drive, I go to activate windows. I go to my purchased copy and enter the code that it gave me. I then click submit and it says that it is incorrect! Hmmm, I rechecked it and it was still alright. I then tried to activate it through the phone, but that didn't work either. Is there anything I can do that needs a PM being sent biggrin: or can someone tell me what the hell is going on?
sometimes "7" is "t" or 0 "zero" is the letter "o". Unless you gave the key to somebody else or are attempting to put windows on more than one computer, it should be working.

yep, i've tried those. I think I'll have to ask Microsoft for help; oh God help me. This is the only machine that I'd ever had that copy of XP on too so I'm stumped.
XP doesn't let you install more than once. Call that number that it gives you when you can't register and tell them that you formatted and now you can't register. MS will give you a new key.
