Questions for 2015:

1) Any difference between xbox version and PC version? I already heard somewhere that there's an exclusive mission for xbox gamers.

2) Which one comes out first? or same time?

3) Do you guys get royalties for the xbox version too? If so, wow you guys are gonna be in such good shape.

I want to know, cause I have a puny k6-2 500 + TNT2 too and I'm planning on upgrading for this game, then again, if it's available on the xbox then I might as well get the xbox? what do youguys (other forumers) think?

PC will be out first (Fall 01), then the Xbox version next year. It will have the exclusive mission as stated in the press report, although I don't know what the plans are as far as fitting into the story, timeline, etc. As far as visual quality, we know what hardware will be on the target system, therefore we will maximize the nvidia chipset to the fullest and customize our engine for that chipset.

You might want to consider the PC from a controls standpoint as well (depending upon how hardcore of a gamer you are). Mouse and keyboard are just irreplacable to some . Granted, we're going to make sure the controls for the X will be very intuitive, and easy to use. We've played several FPS games on consoles, and having bad, unintuitive controls is something that we really dislike.

Actually, I'll say go with the Xbox.
Your computer should provide you with enough juice for word processing, spreadsheet and all the MS office BS (I don't know what else you do but I don't suppose you do 3D modelling on your computer )

A geforce3 is going to cost as much as 2 xboxes, is that crazy or what? Now that 3dfx has gone under, the outlook for future PC graphics is grimmmmmmmmm, I'd tell ya.

Something to keep in mind about the GeForce3 though, it literally has the power of a Pentium IV chip!!! So that's basically two CPU's in your machine. When you think of the power of that card, coupled with the RAM and all the technology that's going into that card, you're definately getting what you pay for. Plus the Voodoo 6000 (or was it 5500) was about the same price when it came out (and it's nowhere near the power of the GeForce 3). The price will go down just like the GeForce2's did, and they'll probably make a more affordable version like they did with the GeForce 2 MX (which is a very solid card for the money). They still have to keep their eyes on the Radeon (sp?), so competition is still out there

Spend the money on a good CPU and a good graphics card instead. Xbox can't replace your PC.

Thanks guys You've all been very helpful, since both sides brought up very good points I think I'm more confused now
Anyhow, I've decided that I don't want to play Allied Assault with anything but a keyboard and a mouse, so there...

yes but you guys have to keep this in mind when you put a nvidia geforce3 in a PC it is damn well worth it if you have a geforce3 in a computer it will produce 5xbetter graphics than xbox and thats the truth. already xbox is outdated and it cant be upgraded so go with pc its better i dont know why ppl compare the 2 together xbox is strictly a console its not a pc ok so get that through your heads ppl
