Do you plan to use historical locations in AlliedAssault? Not only the theaters of operation such as for instance Normandy but also historical areas?

yes we have areas that you go to that are historically accurate locations, with the Omaha beach landing being the most dominant. As for which, you'll have to wait for the game p

/me hopes that we'll have an Omaha beach as "real" as possible!

/me also hopes that the Pointe-du-Hoc won't be forget! http://perronny.online.fr/ww2/ww2us_3.htm

Another point is that I saw several pics in the french magazine Joystick may issue that really look like SPR. According to the historical pictures, I think there's a lack of bricks in the wall textures.

Anyway, AA is definitively a game I'm eagerly waiting for!

WOW, nice set of pictures there, thanks for posting those. We've been relying off of actual military maps and historical pictures of the omaha beach landings, but of course there's no pictures showing the beach like this. I think you'll be pretty happy when you see the actual version then if this is what you were hoping for p.

As I developped historical scenarios about the WW2 Normandy Campaign for Steel Panthers (SSI) for the US company Novastar Game Co. I have a big number of books covering this subject. I can give you the list if you want.

So if you need something special, please feel free to ask me and i'll look for it in my own library.
