Well, I bought my CD Player for $50 6 years ago. It still works. I "obtain" songs and then burn the ones I currently enjoy the most onto a CD. Bought a 50 pack of CD's for probably $10. Why would I need 30gigs of space. Who can sit down and listen to that many songs in a period of time. The whole point of a portable device is to take it on the go... when i get sick of a CD I burn myself another one.
The only plus to having an IPod is being able to listen to music in your car. That only useful if you have a long commute to job/school. Otherwise, just use a radio oOo:
I make playlists of new music i DLed and put them on a new playlist on my Nomad. Plus i can make a play list witout the computer, and i can customize it and find songs. Unlike CDs
Sir ill chose 30 GB of music on one little mini harddrive smaller than a big ass CD player that has a max of 20 songs on a CD if your lucky.[/quote:add81]
Gonzo has a prog and he made a cd with Metallica's Kill 'Em All - The Black Album, and he could have fit more.
I was in Future Shop today playing with the new 4th gen. 20gig Ipod and fell in love with the new click wheel they put on it.
I have a 3rd gen. 20gig Ipod and love it sooo much, it goes every where I go. And if i didnt have to go to school i would buy the new 4th gen. right away.
