I'm thinking of upgrading *cough* to Windows XP, have you guys tested the game on that particular platform yet?

I also run several game servers on Linux, does MoH's multiplayer work just like Quake3's?

Hmmmmmm well, I'm thinking about getting XP myself, but I dunno, I play an awful lot of old DOS games (apparently theres a DOS emulator in XP ???) But still theres alot of problems from what I can see, maybe only because in the test versions that gamespot got they didnt have drivers specifically for XP. Will it run games faster or slower ?? That is the big question.

I think the main thing about XP is that you NEED a fairly beefy computer to get the most out of it. Microsoft are claiming that you'll need atleast a 1gig CPU to get the most out of it.

We don't even have a copy of XP yet. We're not cool enough to be pre-retail beta testers of Microsoft operating systems, I guess.

I'm not sure anyone asked, but :

is multiplayer going to be like counter-strike (die once, wait for new round), or tfc (re-spawn seconds after getting killed) ??

Yes MOH works in XP as well as Q3A and Wolfenstein. I had some lock ups but I fixed them by installing a standard PC driver for the ACPI. I have
1.1 GHz Tbird
Geforce3 Ti200
512 kingston RAM CL3
Maxtor 7200 rpm ATA100 30 gig
Netgear FA311
SB live
