Default RED EYE - 09-13-2004, 12:00 PM

Im having a problem getting red eye out of a picture, it isnt a close up pic but the red eye is noticeable. is there a PS CS tool to get it out? ps the person has brown eyes.

try burn/dodge tools or a low opacity brush

there are tons of filters out there... just google for "red eye reduction in photoshop" and you should find at least a few tuts

No. The pupil of everyones eye is black. And he says its from far away, so its not like anyone could tell. 1 px should do it, maybe 2

but most pics dont show the pupil as pure black, usually different shades

whatever, just see if it works, if not mess with the opac of the brush a little

Highlight the affected area of red eye, then run levels or color replacement on it. Remember, the opposite of red is green.
