whats the best way to uninstall IE off a windows XP machine? the thing is giving me a right headache and i want it off my computer.

Uninstalling it in unnecessary, besides, some web pages are fucked on mozilla.


But for the most part Firefox > IE

yep, i have them both running at the same time. Some stuff only work in IE so keep it on your HardDrive

you get pop ups because you dont have programs that protect your computer, your going to get pop ups even without ie. get the yahoo toolbar, or the google tool bar. and get adaware 1.05 se and it will solve all your problems.

pop ups = spyware. ie isnt the cause of spyware.

i know. but everytime i run spybot, adaware, etc it refuses to delete one thing and it wont catch it again. but i think the toolbar helped.
