Elmagoo: And the actual use of this aircraft, and which version of the aircraft wouldve been more common to see..? You'll find all to early 1945, The FW190D version is less numrious then the "Cooler looking" Dora. Go with the Norm. I think..

Isn't the "Cooler looking Dora" the same thing as the model D? I thought "Long-Nose Dora" was a nick for the D model. This is unless I misundersand elmagoo's post.

Hans: Excuse me, That was a poorly written Sentence. I meant to say the FW-190D "Dora" verison, was less common in the skys then the Earlier version of the Aircraft. My Point? Would be more common to see the Earlier version strafing you then the D. Also, the D verison was namly a High Altitude fighter-interceptor then the early "Fighter Bomber" roll because of it's lighter armorment, and faster speed and better preformence.

Ah, now I understand what your trying to say, that's a good point. On the bright side, at least they have an uncommon plane that is done correctly, which is better then a common plane done wrong.

Heh..Waffen I know what you mean. There will ALWAYS be nitpicks. Always. I found them in Saving Private Ryan, Patton, A Bridge to Far, Enemy at the Gate, U-571 (Which was one of the worst WWII movies ever made IMO). But Waffen you have to understand something, the game isn't one big history lesson, it'd be cool if it was, but then again it wouldn't be called a game! Heh..anyway I try to play the game without looking for mistakes..because then I lose the fun. If I did that with SPR, I wouldn't have enjoyed the movie. Although I do love reading your threads...ARE you a history professor (Which is what I'm striving for.)
In short...I like they guy!

I'm feel what your saying gen. you cant help but nit pick at shit, and I agrea, U571 has to be one of the worst ww2 movies ever. Your classic case of hollywood bullshit the public with a high flashy budget and sensless action, make millions (stupid money). Think of all the ignorant people that think thats what happened now.
