Bayonets?

Consider this:

You are bogged down, out of ammo and there is a Wehrmacht Infantrie Soldat in front of you. You look down and see your trusty M4 bayonet hanging off your belt.

In the game will we be able to fix bayonets?

Then you could just rush at the german and pray that he's the last guy in the direct area. I'd think that'd be better and more realistic than running around and grabing some more ammo from a dead commrade. then you could nab the germans K98, Mp40, etc. and continue on...

or like wise, in multiplayer, you could just go on a crazy poking rampage

ahhh.. They have that in DoD, for the K98 of course.. its pretty lame though.. I use it only if im desperate or just being lame myself.. LMAO

I use it when I surprise someone up close.. hehe, its fun

hm, as cool and realistic that would be, it REALLY makes me wonder how they could add that feature and keep the "no gore" policy. If you rushed someone with a bayonette theres def gonna be a lot more than a "dust spray" shooting out. lol. however what i've read in books people who had the balls to fix a bayonette and charge sometimes took the postitions without killing anyone, the German would see the blade and surrender instantly. It happened a few times at D-day even believe it or not!
