Looking for portable MP3 player -

Im thinking about getting an MP3 player and I know some of you guys (Jibber) have one. The Ipod looks good, but i wanted to know what else is out there. Any suggestions?

around $250, but im willing to pay for more. Any of these have radio tuners on them? Its not that important, but its a bonus that i would like.

i just got a minidisc player. for the price it was great.. i mean im never going to need a 20 gig mp3 player. my minidisc holds about 50 songs, and you can delete/add songs up to a million times. 170 canadian, and you can get one with an FM tuner for 30 bucks more. And its only 1 AA battery, get about 40-50 hours of listening time

40-50 hours, thats alot. is that all it runs on, one AA battery? mini disc, that means it runs on some kind of CD right? im looking for something w/o cds or tapes, i just wanna upload/download songs via usb from my pc to the device. ill look at the nomad zen and the ipod, but i dont think the ipod has an am/fm tuner, does it? thanks for the help guys, are there any other ideas?

I'm still rockin' my 6GB Nomad Jukebox. Works great. If I were to buy a new one, I'd go with the Zen or the iPod.
The only reason I put the iPod second is because it looks like a case for tampons or something. Too 14-year-old-girly.
