No i'm not, i'm Canadian. However if I were american, I would vote. I have voted in every single election, referrendum or anything else I could since I turned 18. I've voted in one federal election, one municipal, a by-election, and will be voting in the upcoming provincial election on Nov 22.

I see something interesting here. Perhaps they wouldn't have the kerfluffle they had in flordia if they kept the ballots simple. Just have the federal election thing on the ballot and thats it.

Thats how it was for Canada's federal election. Very simple. Very easy. Took me 10 seconds. Maybe it's a non issue, but can't they do those proposals and things in another forum held at another time? I know its convenient to do them at the same time, but perhaps in a election this close, you want to make things as simple as possible.

I dont care about casinos to begin with...who gives a shit ...guess what we raped and pillage the indians for this land...maybe they should be able to control some casinos.....I dont want to see slot machines in race tracks and every bar across the state....and I feel its very fair that THE COMMUNITY vote whether or not they want gambling in their town....not some dick heads who look out for only themselves.

3. I read proposal 2 as the way I read it and I am voting yes. Marriage in my eyes is man and woman and I feel it should state it just like that to leave NO doubt in anyones mind WHAT a marriage is. I know a few homosexuals..one of them is the lead of my department at work and I get along with him great. It still not going to sway my vote.

The proposal would:

* Amend the state constitution to provide that "the union of one man and one woman in marriage shall be the only agreement recognized as a marriage or similar union for any purpose."

what more fine print is there....there is always speculation on what it will do but the way I read it it says that man and woman in marriage is the only thing that will be recognized as that....It also stops activist judges from voting that the gay marriage ban is unconstitional
