On the point of driving tanks...It wont happen, you can sit in a tank and control the person driving the tank (telling him which way to go with your directional keys) but thats about it, your essentially the tank commander is that respect. Thats what I read in some interview anyway.

Now I believe we get to truly drive one tank and order where to go with the others. Man I would be so happy if we can be one of the machine gunners in an airplane. Didn't they say that there was gonna about 20 vehicles in this game?

simply

if you read the interviews... they very clearly say that you CANNOT drive the any of the vehicles... the closest you can come to driving is... yes telling someone else what to do.... and you can "hitch a ride" on a moving vehicle

that is ALL.
no driving of any sort
