Hi Rudedog,

Just to let you know that if you put .pk3 files to download without zipping them, then Windows usually adds a .zip at the end of the filename when you download it, so it looks .pk3.zip

I've had problems in the past with that, cause people downloaded my .pk3 mods and then unzipped them (yep, it's lame) on the main folder, which creates a lot of folders (i.e.: maps, textures, scripts, models...) which were supposed to go into the pk3, and makes uninstalling the mods a lot more difficult to novice users (if they remove every folder then they remove all the mods installed like that).

Also, it's a good idea to have custom skins to download (I do that too on my server  ), but you should add more axis skins IMHO. Also, combat_manon and panzergrenadiersniper can be problematic, as any skin based on either manon.skd and german_winter2.skd - It's not a skin fault, those skeletons don't work well and weapons appear in odd positions to users who don't have the custom skins installed. I had a thread on it, but it get lost on cyberspace when the server changed.

Regards, and glad to see aa.com back
