Default bf sound sounds like junk - 11-11-2004, 11:34 PM

yeah, when im driving a jeep or various other vehicles (flying) it sounds like my speakers are popping. i tried hardware acceleration, putting volumes at 50% and nothing works. any ideas

Did you update your drivers ? if yes...
Then tell what your specs are ...
It could be your sound card...

try plugging in your speakers properly it could be slightly loose. If this doesnt work try ajusting the sound quality (in game)

audigy 2, winxp, creative 6.1 speakers. 44khz quality, 48 channels, high sound quality

see if you have the EAX sound on in the options, some friends of mine had the same problem. If it's on turn it off.

I just got battlefield two days ago and like every 45 mins I get wierd bad echoes as sound and they dont go away till i restart the whole game oOo:
