Ever shot 3in. slugs out of a Remington 870? It hurts like a bitch.

One of my uncles is using a Remington 870, one a Mossberg 500 and I don't know about the others. My dad is going to use a Remington 870 with a red dot on it.

Here in about 2 years I am going prarie dog hunting. We have to use these big ass guns that weigh like 20lbs each.
