Server Admin Duties

Hello,

I fired up a server today for teamdeath match. FF was on and "some" idiots started team killing (team killing me the admin to boot...). When I tried to kick 'em, it didn't do anything. I realize the command is kick "player name", but alas it didn't boot them. Is there some sorta anti-kick patch these guys have? Is there another way to boot them without shutting down the server?

In the end I just ended the server - but I don't like doing this to "honest" players.

try opening the console and typing status then get the client number. The just type Clientkick 4 and they should be gone

Get Crow Kings "Auto-Kick"

It shows you a graphical interface of all players
their names and their IPs

If you get an idiot - just click their name
and click the "Kick" button - they are gone

Better yet - if they are a real idiot
click the "Kick and ban" button"

They wont be able to rejoin your server

Its AWESOME

i hate thes @$$holes. had an idiot called Ineman shooting. warned the second time that if he did it again i'ld kill him. he did and i did but he kept it up and not just with me either. u might wanna keep an eye out for him.
