Default multiplayer not working - 08-09-2002, 11:59 AM

I've been playing for a week without any problems with 1.10. Then i went to gamespy one day and every server said server connection timed out....everyone. And when i tried to go through mohaa, the game and not the gamespy program itself no servers were listed and i couldnt refresh anything. So i got 1.11 and no improvement its been like 3 or 4 days now. Still hasnt worked.

Its not my connection i have cable and i get server timed out to games that i ping to with like 20ms.

You can try re-installing the game. I have no idea...

1) Test the speed of your connection. It's cable so it should easily be over 300ms. Goto http://www.dslreports.com and use the test there. I have the worst cable conn. in my area, and it's 800, so for your sake I hope you have over that.

2) It's possible that you may be just trying to join a game that has a bad host. Keep looking for servers with the lowest ping possible, and the most room of players to join. This will lessen your chances of not being able to join.

Default figured it out i think - 08-14-2002, 09:20 PM

went to the EA site and went to their tech support chat...guy said there is a list of ports in the instruction manual that tells you which ports mohaa needs. said that my cable isp probably blocked off one of the ports for security reasons and that i should call them about it and read off the ports mohaa needs open. calling them tomorrow morning...

if u guys have problems go to the EA tech chat site the url is:
