Anything off "Garage Days Revisited" by Metallica is better than the originals.

Anything Maiden covers I like better than originals.

Type O Negative do a cool rendition of Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl".

SRV verions of "little wing" and "vodoo chile" are better thans hendrix's
along with metallica's covers of "turn the page" and "whiskey in the jar"

gotta disagree boss

hendrix owns with his originals of vodoo child and crosstown traffic (clapton cover) and metallica ruined seeger's turn the page. srv does a good rendition but it's not better than the orginal. whiskey in the jar (thin lizzy) i'll give you only because i can't stand thin lizzy anymore thanks to the overplay of 'the boys are back in town' .
