Default MOHAA dedicated server on Multi-homed server? - 08-12-2002, 10:39 AM

I know that I can do this with UT, but can I run MOHAA as a dedicated server, on a Windows 2000 server that is multi-homed (ie. has multiple NICs installed)? I only want MOHAA to listen on one of the NIC IP addresses.

Thanks
Vlad

Thanks. Where is this value set? Is this in a configuration file?

yes, this value should be part of your server.cfg file

Like RD said, in the main cfg file. However if you have problems with it not showing up immediately (you'll see a console msg about net_ip being "latched" and changing on next restart) then either use it directly on the commandline or add a restart at the end of your configfile.

OK, but how do I get the CFG file to be executed with MOHAA_server.exe? I can't seem to find any instructions on how to reference the CFG file with the dedicated server.

Thanks

Add +exec server.cfg to your moh shortcut. Just make sure you place your server.cfg file in your main dir along with all your maps mods and skins
