LOL swill you are truely clueless, why would anyone want one fucking company to produce all the games for pc? At the moment it looks like thats what ea has in mind by buying over anyone it can that has produced decent games. The smaller companies usually bust their balls to put out good games because they know thats what will get them a start in the games industry, companies like iD started off tiny and are now well established.

EA basically seem to be pretty lazy, games get bits chopped off just so they can ship it on time, even bf-1942 there was a patch for that before the game was released ffs. The whole point of so many companies is having a choice, if ea's american "football" game sucks then maybe this other companies will be better or if theres isn't that good maybe this other companies will be better. Having that choice taken away by a company that wants to rule the market isn't good for the industry or the gamers.
