If I uninstall Halflife 2, will I have any problem reinstalling it due to that crazy steam program? WIll I jsut be able to re-install it again like the first time? Sorry to start a topic about this, but I couldn't find that halflife thread, but I probably did not look very hard. When I am informed of the facts for all I care this can be locked and deleated or whetever. Thanks!
CD's. If I di buy from online would I be up a creek without a paddle?[/quote:6cc29]
no...
I have CD`s but after you register you cdkey in your Account you can just automatically install halflife with options of from your cd`s or online....Cd`s would be faster IMO because you get CS:S as well..

totally off-topic but i've been playing BF1942 for a while now, until i got my new pc the cd takes forever to read the cd, i know this will be seen as warez blah blah but will a no-cd patch help me or will i find myself banned from servers and criminalised?
thats the one thing that annoys me, the way BF checks ur CD every 5 secs. As i said, i have the cd but it keeps pausing for about 4 minutes each time the map changes or i start up the game..... spank:

So can I just deleate the Valve folder? I uninstalled steam and HL2, but the folder is still there, and when I try to use the uninstall file it will do nothing. So would it hurt anything to just deleate it to the Trash Bin, and tehn get read of it? Thanks.

yeah - deleting the folder wont do any harm. it usually just stores some settings from the game.
