The Creative my brother has is only slighty bigger than my iPod - has more space, doesnt have a battery that cant be removed from the unit and thus can be kept so long as he has a battery, more features - and cost less. However if youre stroking your iPod 24/7 then yes - I guess you do need design more than function.
