how is it that they haven't officially cancelled the season, do they really think something is going to come out of these talks? The way I see it, we could be without NHL hockey for a very long ass time

its done, they just havent said it yet. There isnt enough time to have a season anyway. I hope we have one next year.

i dont see why the players wont accept at least a "soft" salary cap I.E. kinda like baseball.

i think this will benefit the older guys as they can heal all the nagging injuries for one last run. i think chelios (my fav player along with the other old school bhawks like roenick and amonte...probert oOo: ) will be back for another season. you now you are getting old when the players you watched as a youngster are retiring (ray bourque for one....).....................

Yup. All my fave Oilers growing up have retired and most are in the Hall of Fame already.
