Default German Models funky =\ - 08-13-2002, 04:27 PM

All my german models are REALLY dark. Like if Im allied and I have force models off it looks like every german is lurking in the shade it sucks, I am forced to be german always now. The mods I have are, A blood mod, a ultimate realism mod that adds more models and differant sounds. a sniper scope skin (after the prob I got this) and I think thats it. Where do i begin to look? Is a shader really what it sounds like?

Why dont you try taking out ALL mods you have. And I mean everything. Then try the game again. After that, if the problem goes away, one at a time, try out those mods you had, and see if any of them cause the problem by themselves. This way you can see what mod specificaly caused the problem. If this doesnt work, try combinations of mods, it could be that 2 mods are conflicting and causing the problem.

Yeah, mods can do weird things sometimes, one of my mods is making the colors in the Hunt weird. You know how the Allied spawn area has that tree texture as the walls? Well, it turned a mostly pruple color, and a couple other colors throughout the level are a little off. I'm way too lazy to see what mod is doing it though, its not really bothering me too much.

hmmm, i dont have that one. I think it may be the blood mod I have, everything else was pretty much put in after the problem started. I took out all the mods and maps except for the weapon skin mods and the problem went away. Also, can a mod for one weapon skin affect another mod for another weapon from working? I got these new weapon skins, but they dont work. The only other thing in there is a scope for my German sniper.

This is a list of the mods I have active:
user-ak_thompsonsmg_us.pk3 (thompson skin, doesnt work)

user-Bruni_Desert_Eagle_P38.pk3 (p38 skin, doesnt work)

user-capt.kick your ass's allied grenade.pk3 (allied grenade skin, doesnt work)

User-GrandmasterAxis5.pk3 (scope for german sniper rifle, works)

User-ReverendTed-Gold45.pk3 (colt skin, doesnt work)
