editing lots of pics at once -
02-10-2005, 01:08 AM
i have around 200 pics of a band in practice, one of the things im gettin paid to do for em besides logos and flyers is to do a few photo shoots
is there a way to take a bunch of pics at once and resize and brighten them all at once? im wondering if linking em all together might do it.
also is there a way to open all the pics if theyre all the same size into one .psd w/o having to copy and paste em all into one?

i know theres a program called reajpeg which you can resize, and change the brightness/contrast etc for a multiple amount of images.

You can record actions in Photoshop to do all that. Google "photoshop actions tutorial" or something like that.
It's not too hard to figure out. G'luck.

Well, you already did it, but here's what you should have done:
First, you're gonna want to define an action, like Zone said. Find a tutorial for the details, but basically, you're gonna record the steps you take (resize, brightness, etc.) and have that as an action.
Then, the important part that will actually save you time is batch processing. Go to File > Automate > Batch... You're gonna want to choose the action you just made, and the directory with your pics in it. Select the other options you want, and let it run.

k the band is called tha BNVz, theyre a hip-hop group that play instruments instead of tables like the roots...the session was awesome, they would actually just jam out and freestyle, they really have a chemistry and the black dude, marcus sounds a lot like black thought from the roots
there were around 78 good ones of the 235 total, heres a few:
