I don't know if anyone has got this before, but when anyone is hugging close to a wall, I see them. So it confuses me because when I'm in a sniper battle and he's half sticking out from behind a wall, I don't think he's sticking out. So tell me does anyone have this problem? Cuz I talked to some people and they laughed because it didn't happen to them.
Yep - it's called clipping. It's a graphical glitch where the gun barrell, arm, dead body part will stick through a wall sometimes. I've seen it in other games also. When I'm hiding (camping? hehe) I try to avoid sticking my gun at the wall if I'm right up on it to avoid it poking thru the other side, thus giving away my position. I don't beleive a gun barrell glitching through a wall can shoot through said wall...
The Hunt.... where allies enter the first house they come to and are up against the left wall. If youre sniping from end of the road they are entirely visible as though they are on your side of the wall. Gfx glitch probably based on where your lookin at it from.
Other ones like guns through doors and shit its just because the player models at not clipped by their guns and arms. ie how could you open a door while holding a rifle if you bumped into stuff at the end of your gun instead of your chest.
i actually play off of those glitches, u know, i can see someone opening a door ahead of time, or i know someone is in the room, but i believe we all play like that.

I've been called a cheater, because I saw someone behind a door that was trying to wait till I got past and then shoot me in the back. I taught that bastard a lesson. 8) Clipping happens and you just have to avoid it when you can, by pointing the gun away from the door, wall, or window.
One of the developers said they had alot of problems with the engine due to them making walls thinner and thus more "realistic". He said for awhile they even had lights shining through solid walls!
About the only thing to be done is to increase the clipping box around the player model, so it can't get that close to a wall or closed door. This of course has it's own problems, mostly with getting stuck.

Still happens now. nades and muzzle flash both showup through solid walls.
yah Hollywood people get yell at me for that too, but hell i can't do anything about it. infact i would be dissapointed if i couldn't see the flashes threw the wall, or see them opening a door, than i would have to just go on sound of the doors opening.
Lol, it's weird. Now all the people in the game have the same skin I have! SO if I have allied_army and elite_sentry everyone is army or elite sentry
I used this to my advantage and made everyone the scientist :) now I can see any snipers hiding behind grass and stuff.
Alot of people consider that a form of cheating. I mean if your going for you wouldn't be able to dress the enemy. "Hey fella's the Wermacht(sp) sent over these great new uniforms! I know they'll get dirty fast being all white and all, but hey you can't argue with free clothes!" (Excerpts from "Things NOT Heard During WWII.) I don't use force models cause it's a cheap way to see your enemy. Which coincidently is reflected in my kill/death ratio! Huh! Never made the connection.
what is funny about clipping is that if u can see part of someone through a wall/door u can hit it ..... i once pistol whipped a guy through a door ... which as u can imagine resulted in all kindsa allegations that i was cheating ...
