I would use that thing for my TV dinners. It's cool looking, but it wasnt as much a hit as I think the developers wanted it to be. Plus, the HUD enveloped like 70% of your screen.

Yeah that was one of the big problems, a really small view of the action, i think it was more so the game wouldn't have to render as much and risk fps loss, some heavy duty particle effects and other crap going on in that game.

I want to be that guy...he doentt really have to do shit but look at the map and tell him what kind of turn it is. Yet he still gets mad credit if they win.

Not much credit for the win though, not as much as the driver. I.e, we all know who Colin McCrae, Richard Burns and Carlos Sainz are - But for the life of me I can't remember who their co-drivers were, and I'm a reasonably big fan of WRC....
Although they must get mad bitches straight after the win....Hah.
"Yeah, It was me all the way...McCrae didn't know where the fuck he was going - Til' I switched on the magic and directed him. He owes me alot. Now pull out my penis and twirl on it you scum-sucking big-titty momma slutballs."

Do you have any idea how hard that must be to try and read his goddamn notes while he is bouncing up and down in that car? Hell, I can't read anything while I'm in the car, I get dizzy in like 2 minutes.

Also, having to track the movements of the car in order to know exactly where you are on the list of turns is a heavy load. One mistake and you're fucked.
Picking up my copy of gt4 tomorrow, in the mean time i've been playing gt3 nonstop, trying to get as much done as possible and messing around with old favourites. So far i've done every license test with a gold, and finished every race with a gold with a select few championships left to do; (fuck the vitz series) and a few endurance races I'll miss that game, my Mine's Evo on Deep Forest, Spoon Civic on Trial Mountain II, and my trusty Arta NSX on Laguna. rock:

they need more realism, that would be a great feature. at least the tires wear down a bit...
i only liked and played the first GT, they all seemed like the same thing, jsut with new maps and cars and added difficulty.
