Default Sport cards anyone?? (Baseball/hockey...) - 03-01-2005, 05:57 PM

Wondering if anyone here collects any type of "Sports" card memorabilia. I have a bunch of baseball and hockey cards i'd like to unload. As far as baseball, i have singles and complete sets from '81 to '86.

As for hockey, i only have singles. I have three Gretzky rookie cards in mint condition. I'm going to keep one for myself. Anyone looking for anything in particular?

I used to big time as a kid

cards + comics (have 1st apperance of the sweetest xmen character ever, gambit)

I used to have books of complete sets.

my cousin and I once went through a huge box of my uncles old sports cards.

when a player was traded my uncle would scratch out the team name on the card ed: lots of superstar rookie cards

we found a cal ripken jr rookie card....bent in half cry: cry: cry:

I had the complete set to desert storm trading cards as well as yo mtv raps.

I sold the yo mtv raps ones in 4th grade to kids in school for a quarter.

"yo man you got any mc hammer..."

"oh its hammer time"

I collected more recent baseball cards a couple years back. The most expensive I have are a Mickey Mantle jersey card (it has some of his jersey on the card) and a Willie Mays bat card (same thing, a peice of the bat in the card)
