These genre comparisons fucking suck. Just supports the idea of music cliques and labelling everything that is different with bullshit stereotypes.
Rap is different to Rock, whoop-dee-fucking-doo...Get over it.
For the record: I like both. I like anything that sounds good....People that can be as general as "RAP SUCKS" or "ROCK SUCKS" (although for some reason....None of the "rap listeners" on this forum seem to say rock sucks - for some reason rolleyes: ) and label whole genres under one name is just fucking 25 cent ignorant.
They usually have the most limited taste in music and generally tend to be narrow-minded mother fuckers.

With all these fucking gimmicks and cash cows, people seem to forget that music is music. You listen to music because it sounds good. Not because it's fucking "cool."

Listen to whatever makes your dick hard. Don't limit yourself to genres. I'm primarily a metal listener, but I also have many celtic CDs in my collection. I also like the Beastie Boys, Onyx, and even some Snoop.
