First Car Suggestions -
04-11-2005, 08:00 PM
I've got $3,000cdn ($2,400us) and i'm looking for something fast and overall fun for a first time beater car. Insurance and gas aren't a problem. Any suggestions? If you really want to, http://www.autotrader.ca - zipcode L4R - zone central ontario & Toronto

Look for a 94-96 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1(Police Pkg)
Big, safe, fast. and can take a beating with its beefed up suspension, and look for one with the LT1 Corvette engine

Fuck certain types of cars. SH will always say a cav. Some peopel wil swear by v8s. or 4 bangers or w/e.
the truth is dont get anything fancy. ITs your first car and you will probably do something stupid to it. Get something safe, reliable, good on gas, and decently cheap. also dont get a sports car unless you like paying more than what you paid for you car in insurrance for one year.

Get a truck, my truck. It is a 1/2 ton v6 4.3, not fast, but has all the power you really need. Like I say you can have it if you will give me 80+ karma and buy this forum for me to rule.

If I could go back, I would have gotten a manual transmission. They are fun to drive and it actually makes you pay more attention to what's going on around you. I think people should have to learn to drive a stick shift in driver's ed.

is it a chevy 4.3 vortec? if so hmmm thats a simple swap into my truck. Maybe it would be cheaper to buy the forum and give you 80+ karma than buy the truck.
