That's exactly why I posted. Just something about that strong, rich color got me. The first version was what I was intending on making.
And sooooo easy to do.... I feel a tut coming on!
Save this image to your PC and open it in PS:

Now make a new layer and grab the eye-dropper tool to select the tear-drop color:

Use the Paint Bucket tool & dump the new color on your new layer!

Now set your new...blue.. layer to Color Burn and watch the magic!
You can adjust the lightness and darkness of the blue layer by simply changing the color to a lighter or darker shade. Adjusting the opacity will create the middle sig!
