Ive heard these comments on modern marvels and in some Hackworth books. Why would the US issue tiger stripes to the S. Vietnamese-which they did- if it was the best cammo? It was made famous by JOhn Wayne.

i think the Aussie camo is pretty inefficient (no offence)
also i think the Belgian Camo is...but i still like it happy:

Tripper, they would issue the tiger stripes to US forces first (wouldnt they get first priority if it was so good)?

I dunno, I would've thought they would have two different ones on purpose, but not because one is better than the other. Maybe because they wouldn't want the VC/NVA to identify a single enemy so easily or something like that.

yeah, and also the ACU and newer camos are supposed to be near imposible to pick up with night vision-im sure that type of research has not been done by Realtree (although it could). Its all scientific.
